Ms. Hooper made All-Big Ten three times during her career, winning the Big Ten Player of the Year award in 2014 and finishing second at Nebraska in career points and rebounds.

Ms. Hooper steered Nebraska to three NCAA tournament wins, made a school-record 295 3-pointers in her career and, although there’s no official count, she probably signed more autographs than any women’s basketball player in Nebraska history.

Jordan Hooper was close to a prep legend when she arrived in Lincoln and what Nebraska women’s basketball coach Connie Yori called the perfect role model when she left.

In 2014, Hooper was drafted into the WNBA by the Tulsa Shock with the 13th overall pick and she played her first year of pro basketball in Turkey.
